Mastercard has partnered with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) and the Egyptian Banks Company (EBC) to facilitate the implementation of the central bank’s regulations for tokenisation and develop relevant infrastructure for banks operating in Egypt, according to a statement on Tuesday.
